Savannah North Foundation Donates to Benefit BCESD #3

The Savannah North Foundation has donated $30,327 to Brazoria County Emergency Services District No. 3 for equipment benefitting Brazoria County ESD3 Emergency Medical Services and Manvel Volunteer Fire Department.

 

The funds donated were for the purchase of Toughbook tablet computers, allowing first responders, both Fire and EMS to receive real-time information from collaborating agencies during a response. The grant also included funding for a Multi-Therapy IV Infusion Pump. This purchase ensures that all Brazoria County ESD 3 EMS Ambulances will have this onboard.

 

Over the last three years the Foundation her donated over $65,000 for the purchase of life saving equipment, ballistic vests, and station upgrades.

 

Brazoria County Emergency Services District No. 3 provides Emergency Medical Service and Fire Suppression to 650 square miles, serving a population of over 86,000. The district includes 4 Emergency Medical Service providers and 9 volunteer and municipal Fire Departments.
